Elementary-Level Standards

Elementary

Athens Bible School uses the Standford Achievement Test (SAT) series as a diagnostic tool for its elementary students. On average, ABS students’ scores on these exams demonstrate an academic aptitude that is two grade levels higher than the students’ actual grade level. In a national comparison to other schools, Athens Bible School’s average scores on these exams have been above the 80th percentile for over a decade.

Secondary-Level Standards

Secondary

Athens Bible School offers both University Preparatory and Standard diplomas, as well as Dual Enrollment college courses in Biology, English, History, Math, Psychology, and Spanish.  If a student takes all available dual enrollment classes offered at ABS, he/she may graduate with over 50 hours of college credit. Over the last 20 years, 18 students have been named National Merit Scholars.  One hundred percent of our 2017 graduates were accepted into the college of their choice, with over half of those graduates receiving an academic or athletic scholarship.  Our students have excelled at the local, state, and national levels in such events as the Spelling Bee, Beta Club, the Robotics, Science Fair, and History Fair.
